For this release, the bug found in the previous version, 1.4.0.0, which prevented the start of the program after installation has been squished accordingly.

PSP homebrew - Image 1Are you gonna miss the outgoing prez? Now here's a homebrew game that even the Democrats will want to get their hands on: PSP Sock and Awe! It's simple: hit poor ol' George with as many shoes as you can in 30 seconds. Strongly reminds me of a Bush presscon in Iraq, but unless I'm much mistaken, that was the inspiration behind this game.

Thanks again Miles for letting us in on another good one!

Mobile Suit Gundam Senjo no Kizuna Arcade - Image 1Namco Bandai's Mobile Suit Gundam Senjo no Kizuna is all the arcade rage in Japan, and all that action is coming to the PSP as Mobile Suit Gundam: Senjo no Kizuna Portable. Obviously, it won't have the rich rexture of the arcade version, but hey, it's portable, and it'll come with tweaks and fixes to make the portable Gundam experience as good as the arcades. More info inside.

Harry PotterYou've got the Star Wars franchise, Batman, and Indiana Jones - all of them getting their own multiplatform Lego treatment for the past few years. And just last month, talks of a Harry Potter Lego ran rampant, with Warner giving a "no comment" response to the rumors. Now, it's been revealed that, whether or not Traveller's Tales really is Lego-fying Hogwarts, it definitely won't happen next year. Meanwhile, they might just throw us a new (err, newly recycled?) Lego game instead.

Hideo Kojima - Image 1Being one of Konami's biggest studios, Kojima Productions has some big plans for 2009. What are they up to? What's big man Hideo Kojima working on? And more importantly, are David Hayter and the rest of the gang still willing to work on more Metal Gear games despite some (questionable) psychological trauma?
